Wednesday 20-11 - Grand Canyon of the Pacific

Up early as we are sight seeing today. Need to get in front of the tourist buses and any change in the weather. We are heading inland to see the Waimea Canyon, described as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific.

There are lookouts over the ocean, lookouts over the canyon, and waterfalls from a distance. Some pretty special views. A couple of other places along the way, a bird wetlands area being restored after many years of drainage and farming plus a Papaya plantation.

The afternoon is a domestic chore - washing!!! Then later beer on the patio watching the sunset. Paradise here we are.
